Lo Bounces Back to the Future

The last 12 months, as everybody knows, have been somewhat disjointed and many events have been postponed or cancelled due to COVID, but Lo hasn’t been twiddling her thumbs I can assure you.

Lo has been taking more artwork commissions and has been trying her hand at new skills, such as graffiti artwork.  As a result of a few pieces that she posted on her social media, Lo has been contacted to produce some larger pieces for a future exhibition and will become part of her new Lo Williams Originals Collection.  Watch this space.

Lo was also a successful recipient of Bounce Back Programme funding, a collaboration with First Class Foundation and BVSC.  Look out for 2Extreme4School which will be launched, addressing discrimination against young black children in schools for their hair.

Lo also partnered with Artsy Party Kidz CIC leading an art session with a group of 7 - 10 year olds in the school summer holidays and revisiting  LoBags.

Lo’s digital artwork has also taken off this year, with a number of album covers and book illustrations.  DearGirls is a project Lo worked on late last year, producing the artwork for their front cover of their productivity journal.  Lo will be attending their official launch in London later in the month.

Other speaking engagements are in the pipeline and if you would like Lo to attend one of your events or speak to young people about being a young entrepreneur, please head over to the contact form on the website and leave your details.

Finally, it’s also one year since LoDesignz website was launched and to celebrate Black History Month 2021 you can get a massive 20% off all merch (minimum order £10) until the end of October and while stocks last.
